adopt a cheetah - full adoption

The HESC affords individuals the opportunity of exclusively adopting a cheetah for a year. Such individuals receive a dedicated plaque at the entrance to the cheetah’s enclose with his/ her name – acknowledging the contribution, as well as recognition on our website. The package includes an adoption gift (including a coffee table book, an adoption certificate and a pewter collector’s wildlife spoon); an automatic subscription to the Cheetah Chat Newsletter; and quarterly updates on the progress of the animal.

An exciting new development this year is the creation of the Cheetah Adoption Schools. These are schools from the local area that are linked to cheetahs that have been adopted by local or international sponsors. The schools are drawn from the areas most in need of support and upliftment. The team at the HESC works with professional educators as well as the learners at the schools, and learners are given the opportunity to be part of the care programme of the adopted animal and to communicate freely and frequently with the sponsor.
